Oleksandr Vertyporokh leads Woodstar Partners’ UK Audit Practice and serves as engagement partner on UK statutory audit engagements. He is ACCA-qualified, holds an ACCA audit practising certificate, and has Responsible Individual status. He has extensive experience across Big 4, Tier-2, and boutique audit firms, including as founder and director of a UK audit firm.
Oleksandr combines senior audit, finance, and advisory experience, with particular strength in technology businesses, regulated environments, and complex international group structures. He has served as CFO and Board Member of a regulated technology-driven business, where he led finance strategy, treasury, financial reporting, and multi-entity finance operations across an international group.
His experience also includes audit work for international digital assets and technology-enabled businesses. This brings a combination of statutory audit judgement and first-hand commercial understanding that is highly relevant to iDeals as an international technology business operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Internal Audit at Revolut, supporting the enhancement of controls and governance frameworks, including on introduction of new crypto products.
He has experience advising senior finance leadership of US-listed multinational groups on SOX compliance and financial controls programmes, giving him strong insight into the governance, control, and financial reporting frameworks that are particularly important in the audit of crypto entities.
He is ACCA- and US CPA-qualified and also holds the CIA and CISA designations. His sector experience includes digital assets, financial services, and technology.
